U S Steel Slag pit installation. Douglas S. Miller was the consulting superintendent for Kvaerner Songer Corp. in charge of the removal and installation of a new slag pit including all underground liners and drainage.

#5 Blast Furnace Rebuild. Douglas S. Miller was consulting superintendent for Davy Songer Corp. in charge of demolishing sections of existing casthouse and new construction consisting of mass excavations, pile driving, structrual concrete, foundations, bentonite liners and drainage systems and the installation and tie in of the new rail system during the rebuild.
