Blast Furnace Civil Work During accelerated shut downs. The work typically managed includes casthouse demolition, large iron removal, large excavations, ground water control during excavations, stabilization of poor site conditions for pile driving and foundations, new concrete operating floors, concrete mud gun foundations, concrete ring wall repairs, concrete stove fan foundations, pile driving and concrete caps, underground drainage systems, bentomat and bentonite mix environmental liners, high temperature concrete walls, heavy cast in place concrete, structural steel, shotcrete, railway base and connections.

MIDDLE: All pile driven, high temperature concrete panels in place, the new slag pit is taking shape.
BOTTOM: Completed Slag Pit with spray system and center wall in place.
